Setting the standard.

LexisNexis is proud to announce the launch of Practical Guidance Occupational Health and Safety, bringing the number of available practice areas to twenty-two.

Protecting the health and safety of people in the workplace is fundamentally important in any society. To achieve a safe workplace, occupational health and safety laws regulate a large number of activities, facilities, machinery, equipment, substances and products and apply to every workplace in the economy. Complying with OHS laws can be complex and challenging due to the extensive range of OHS legislation and various SANS Codes.

Practical Guidance Occupational Health and Safety Law provides a comprehensive overview of South African OHS law and expert guidance on how to comply with it. It offers our customers user-friendly and practical advice to ensure that they are compliant with health and safety laws and stay up to date with the ever-changing legal environment.

This practice area also provides users with useful tools, such as forms and precedents, checklists and most importantly, up-to-date guidance on the relevant laws in order to successfully comply with health and safety law guidelines.
